Antiquity, mythology and romanticism is the musical event that opens the 2012-2013 season in Venice at Palazzetto Bru Zane. Driven by insatiable curiosity, the team of the Centre ofFrench Romantic music created festival in which the past, neo-Classicism and modernity all meet. In Romanticism, the arts — from painting to literature and even music, all draw on the sources of Antiquity: evocations of historical and mythoiogical figures, monumental collective scenes and individuai expressians, pensive atmospheres and solitary laments. Eight dates that offer a minante interpretation of the ancient style for all those who want to be captivated by moments of rare, originai music.
