The aim: culture

The 9th edition of the Cultural Heritage and Activities Salon, Venice. The event’s title, seen from the point of view of anagram and grammar, gives a hint of the meaning, contents and programme of the fair.

Salon: this is reminiscent of the enlightened French culture of the 18th century, and of the Parisian art world in particular. Likewise in Venice we find the Salon d’Automne, a regular cultural event at the start of December

Cultural Heritage: the term heritage summarises the semantic value of this resource; the adjective, cultural, immediately suggests the immense riches of Italy’s art heritage. And indeed, the Salon hosts specialised events, including “Restaura”, a space dedicated to restoration and conservation.

Cultural activities: cultural works become a resource for the future. Art, traditions, crafts, gastronomy all promote activities and protagonists aiming at an organised use of culture within the broad framework of cultural tourism. The Salon is also organising itself and specialising: buy culture and viaggiandum est, an area reserved for the relationship between culture, tourism, territory, economy; culture media corner, to stress the role of the media in publicising culture; area festival, a selection and summary of an increasingly common format for the production and distribution of culture; AsoloArtFilmFestival, an important event covering film production for art; cultural assets, reflections on the culture of wine and food.

Venice: after nine editions, Venice, which by its nature is replete with cultural riches, confirms its position as accredited venue for the event.
