Late September 2014. Two events, a big showy one and an understated, intelligent iniziative, showed just now Venice can be truly amazing. George Cloney’s wedding on one side and the birth of the new museum Vitraria GLASS+A. A venture on the world of glass, a material with a great history while capable of interpreting the trends of contemporary art. Ewald Stastny, creative director explains: “we wanted to open a museum than approaches the theme of glass in a different way than what one might do in Murano and at the same time we didn’t want to be in competition with larger projects such as Berengo’s Glasstress”. There aren’t any caption. Guides will accompany your visit and will discuss the art with visitors. In Babylonia room one will find video interviews with the artists and material to build a personal multi-media catalogue of the exhibition.
