Fondazione Venezia 2000, from OECD report about metropolitan area of Venice, has focussed its activities of study and research the theme of Venice Metropolis. A project that has the expressed purpose of responding to the question of representation, and government services increasingly present in urban and regional level to support local platforms in international competition.

The meeting aims to initiate a constructive dialogue among the institutional actors directly involved in the path, the City of Venice and the province of Venice. The conference will include: the presentation of the survey sponsored by the City of Venice on the positions of the metropolitan cities by the RECS Network City strategy, and presentation of the first report OSME-metropolitan Observatory by Fondazione Venezia 2000.
