The exhibition, conceived and curated by Adriano Berengo and Börge Kamras with the help of Francesca Jubilees,
features approximately sixty works in glass made by Vallien in the course of his career at the Swedish studies of Kosta Boda, production partner for all his work and the main sponsor of the exhibition along with Berengo Studio.
The exhibition is divided into nine sections and aims to highlight the contribution of this artist at the Studio Glass movement, which this year celebrates its fiftieth anniversary. The exhibition aims to highlight the strong relationship between the design aspects of his research and the realization of ideas, which become glass works in close relationship and dialogue with the environment of the host, emphasizing the particular artist's interest in the relationship man and the environment, with history, with the sacred and with time, in other words with the signs of contemporary society, itsas suggested by the artistic director of the Venice Architecture Biennale, David Chipperfield, in his exhibition project.
The work of this artist, so deeply rooted in tradition and sculptural glass with regard to techniques and materials, and at the same time as reaching out to the
to contemporary issues touched, it becomes a unique point of view on critical and existential representation of contemporary man.
