Palazzetto Tito hosts Stefano Arienti's show 'Custodie vuote', curated by Francesca Pasini. The exhibition supports and completes the show's collaboration with Fenix, designed for the Teatro La Fenice in conjunction with Swiss choreographer Foofwa of Imobilité. For this project has started with the idea of Pleasure Arienti knowledge. While at the Teatro La Fenice the theme is expressed through an opening to the public, in the exhibition at the Palazzetto Tito the artist prefers the look intimate, everyday knowledge. The books distributed in two rooms of Palazzatto Tito can be touch and scroll. Elsewhere we find the original Persian rugs dyed red by the artist, completely covering the floor, a large table, with pottery made with his students at the University IUAV, and sofas, all of which allude to a private sphere and everyday knowledge, but also to what was happening in the salons of the ancient Venetian palaces. In the central hall of the CD covers of music from around the world, interspersed with some of their empty shells, creating the vision of a geography of the world whose boundaries are determined by sounds that chase. This is material that comes from ongoing research conducted by Stefano Arienti for an infinite collection of music. 'Custodie Vuote' is the title of this installation, which comes from the projection for Fenix fire on the curtain of Teatro La Fenice, where for over an hour and no repetitions will be seen digital scans of the CD cover art on display in Palazzeto Tito.
