The project presented by Francesco Bearzatti and Giovanni Falzone hasn't yet been released as a Cd. 'Invenzioni a due voci'was born from the need to create an equal musical dialogue, in which the two improvisers combine their broad expressive horizons, ranging from classical to jazz and rock music. Falzone conceived the project and composed the songs, but both him and Bearzatti are involved in the creative development of the repertoire. Born in Germany and grown up in Sicily, Falzone has played in the Milan Symphony Orchestra, meanwhile nurturing his interest for jazz, which soon became his only sector of action. His discogra phy is broad and diversified, ranging from «R-evolution Suite» to new interpretations of Hendrix («Around Jirni») and Coleman («Around Omette»). The music of the saxo¬phonist Francesco Bearzatti, a native of Friuli now living in Paris, takes inspiration from many sources, first of all jazz and rock, in their va rious forms. After a serious jazz apprenticeship, Bearzatti imposed himself as leader of his own bands, from Bizart Trio to Sax Pistols and Tinissima Quartet. With this last one, to which Falzone belongs too, he recorded «Suite For Tina Modotti», «X (Suite For Malcolm)» and the last «Monk 'n Roll».
