Orquesta Buena Vista Social Club made his only studio album in 1997, produced by Ry Cooder. The record immediately received a huge and well-deserved success with audiences and critics.
Attended by an impressive ensemble of veteran Cuban musicians, the album was followed by the famous and highly successful movie by Wim Wenders, in addition to a series of international tours and more solo albums of the group, giving rise to a real 'phenomenon Buena Vista.'
Now, in 2013, after thousands of successful performances around the world, the musicians of the Orquesta Buena Vista Social Club are preparing to return to Europe for a new tour, with a formation of thirteen elements and two special guests: Omara Portuondo and Eliades Ochoa.
