The European Researchers' Night is an initiative promoted by the European Commission since 2005, brings together researchers with the general public in different European cities in the late summer of the same date: the fourth Friday of September.

The European Researchers' Night is an extraordinary opportunity to bring together, in a fun way, the audience of all ages to the world of research, to open a space for encounter and dialogue with citizens and to sensitize young people to scientific careers. On September 27, 2013, in different European cities, citizens will have the opportunity to visit research facilities that are usually not open to the public, using the latest technology with the guidance of scientists, participate in experiments, competitions, demonstrations and simulations , exchange ideas and party with the researchers.
