Officina delle Zattere hosts until October 20 the event - exhibition entitled 'Geometry Abstract: Burano', artist Gino Baffi, curated by Barbara Vincenzi.
The artist, an ancient Venetian descent, working in his beloved lagoon, of which he knows the most unusual aspects, typical and unknown. His lab is a deconsecrated church located on St Andrew's and reachable only by boat. An isolated, unusual and magic, in which Gino Mustache from life to his particular artistic production.
Venice lives again as a transposition geometric through his memories and thoughts: Burano is revealed on the canvas with simplicity and force, through thickening material and geometric lines: urban grids that magically resonate with colors and flavors.
The island of Burano, the subject of the exhibition, is revealed on the canvas through mergers and thickening color and wide lines that separate areas abstract. Colours and forms known to him supporting them in grids simplified enclosing a deeper feel. Large structures and regular, describe horizons of sea and land, and old buildings faded, whereby he echoes the story of Burano.
