Ca'Foscari University hosts the debut outside of Russia of the famous painter Viktor Popkov. The exhibition includes about 45 paintings among his most important works, the current form of expression and favorite themes: life ,fate and death, sometimes disguised in seemingly ordinary subjects or officers. The shots of the great photographer Igor' Pal'min, teacher of Russian photography, will recreate the historical context, recalling the social and cultural history of those years, and helping at the same time to point out the substance of the issues raised by the artist in his paintings.
