A surprise the final section of the exhibition 'Themes & Variations. Empire of Light', dedicated to the artist Fausto Melotti (1901 - 1986): a valuable monograph which includes works made in his mature period, between the 60 and '80, works that illustrate to the public his relationship with music as Counterpoint II, Orpheus forget, Treble Clef, poetic creations of this sculptor, who in the light-hitting sounds of its lines, has for years called some of his work Theme and Variations, which gives rise to the title of this review.
