Francesca Saccani is a photographer and illustrator. Born in Mestre in 1985, she studied at Liceo Artistico in Venice and obtained the Photography Master degree at the European Design institute. She collaborated with the “Gazzettino Illustrato” ( for the illustrations) and “Detouring” (for the photos). She works as photographer, illustrator and graphic designer for newspaper, events and books. In 1709 Frederik IV of Denmark visited the Serenissima Republic and received a precious Murano glass collection as a gift from the City of Venice. Once back in his palace, the Rosenborg Castle in Copenhagen, Frederik IV had the idea of a glass cabinet inspired by the porcelain cabinets. Gottfried Fuchs, architect and Chief Fire Officer, realized the Glass Cabinet. To show the glasses in the best way, Fuchs created a pyramidal shaped structure decorated with marbled paper and edged with festoons of lead gilt. He also covered the walls with silk. Nowadays the collection is still presented in the same way.

Tróndur Patursson born in 1944 in Kirkjubøur, Faroe Islands. His artworks are nature inspirations, and they are about simplifying or transforming the nature experience into expressive abstraction. They are about depth, about the infinite depth of nature, and about the grandeur, the power and the intensity that is such a strong force of attraction for mankind, but which also causes both unrest and uncertainty. The artist presents the inexplicable, or, as he puts it himself “makes the invisible visible”. Just as nature has no borders, no beginning and no end, the art of Tróndur Patursson is endowed with endlessness. The height of the sky and the depth of the sea are present in his work, not as naturalistic representation, but as essences, feelings or sensations.
