SOL LEWITT - MUSICA AND GEOMTERY With composer Sébastien Roux

Sol LeWitt’s Wall Drawing is one of the most emblematic artworks of the exhibition “Accrochage” on view at Punta della Dogana through November 20. Inspired by the unique work of the American artist, French composer Sébastien Roux, a 2015-2016 artist in residence at Villa Medici in Rome, composed many electronic and acoustic transcriptions of his Wall Drawings.

Thursday 13th October, Teatrino di Palazzo Grassi 6pm: Talk with Sol LeWitt scholar and curator Béatrice Gross 6.45pm: listening session in the foyer with 11 'sonic translations' composed by Sébastien Roux

Friday 14th October, Punta della Dogana 5pm: 6 of Sébastien Roux's 'sonic translations will be performed by Ensemble Dedalus in the exhibition rooms, in front of Sol LeWitt's monumental Wall Drawing
