On the occasion of the 750 years since the birth of GIOTTO (Colle di Vespignano 1267 - Florence 1337) MAGISTER GIOTTO is the first of three exhibitions which will take place at the Scuola Grande della Misericordia.
The project is produced by Cose Belle d'Italia Media Entertainment, curated by Alessandro Tomei, ordinary professor of history of medieval art, and Giuliano Pisani,classical and historical philologist of art; With the participation of the Scientific Committee formed by Cesare Barbieri, professor of astronomy and Stefania Paone, an aggregate professor of the history of medieval art; With the scientific advice of Serena Romano Gosetti of Sturmeck, ordinary professor of history of medieval art, who worked closely with the artistic director Luca Mazzieri, author and director, and with the executive director Alessandra Costantini, architect and designer.
Magister Giotto tells about his artistic production through a visual and auditory path where the public can understand the revolution of his work through the succession of highly perceptive environments.
