The exhibition is the result of collaboration between the Romanian University of Venice, the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University Museum in Iasi and the Department of History of the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University in Iaşi.
The exhibition proposes the remake, through images and fragments of memory, of the experience of the years when the city of Iasi was the capital of Romania (1916-1918), being at the same time a research project and a means of interacting with the public Past and present. The exhibition presents to the Venetian public photographs showing images of the city of Iaşi a hundred years ago, images of the city, of daily life and personality of the time.
