At 992 / A of Fondamenta Sant'Anna Everyday is just another day by Serene Hui Sze-Lok is a set of site-specific works originally installed at Rotterdam's Kaus Australis Foundation - where the artist lived for nine weeks on a Residence - in which they find over eighty photos, two for each day from May 10 to June 25, capturing the moment when the beam of sunlight enters the artist's studio; A mechanical installation with solar panels and electric motors that produce different sounds depending on the amount of light; The use of old projectors and household utensils such as a lamp and mirrors to create a poetic extracurricular experience and a rock running on an old record player covered with sandpaper. Reflections on the concept of time and the consequences it has on human experience.
