Precius. Memory Growth / Life is a site-specific set-up that Aymone Poletti has made with small-sized rooms and smaller installations. The spectator moves in the space of golden proportions of the old VAP workshop, just restored. In the old refrigerator cell (also of gold proportions), a work consists of 500 eggshells boiled for days with mixes of salts and inks. In the metaphor desired by the artist, the work to transform these eggs is patient and delicate, as is the constant commitment of artists who, in their personal research work, need time and dedication to carry out their projects. Each piece of egg is at the same time fragile and precious in its processing and boiled to 4 shots with Japanese salts and inks with different saturation and consistency. It takes 4 days for each fragment, and a careful work that emphasizes the beauty of the simplicity of the materials that become precious only thanks to the just value it gives to time, as at every moment of your life.
