Private is the intimate world that avoids falling onto itself but aims at exploding. It is a space that is included by another space and at the same time separate from it. Unfolding but protected. Each author, each artist has here integrated in his or her own work the space of Palazzo Pesaro Papafava using the various media of contemporary art ð painting, sculpture, installation, performance, video, photography ð and concurring to tracing the idea of the show. Private becomes a dream world in the works of Elisa Pavan, isolation in Anita Sieff, identity and metamorphosis in Giancarlo Scagnolari, time ruled by its own rhythm in Elisabetta Di Maggio, the unconscious in Laura Romero, mapped space in Michele Arzenton, homely space in Augusto Maurandi, limit in Marco Ferraris. Private shatters in thousands of possibilities, potential multiplicity expressed in that untouchable space that can never be stolen, but only violated.
