In homage to Paolo Veronese, the Giorgio Cini Foundation has 'brought back' the famous painting, The Marriage at Cana, made for the Benedictine fathers who, until 1797, governed the monastery of the Island of San Giorgio, which is now home to the Cini Foundation. The event joins other celebrations in the City of Venice, including an important exhibition and various itineraries that aim to re-trace the life and work of this artist of the Veneto.
