Venicemarathon turns 20. Venicemarathon, labeled “the great autumn classic”, is a sport event able to gather along 42,195 km more than 6.000 runners from all over the world. Mach more than a race, much more than a sport festival. From Marconi Square in Stra the course winds along the Riviera del Brenta and its Palladian mansions, through Marghera and Mestre and reaching the Ponte della Libertà (a 4 km straight asphalt bridge linking the mainland with Venice). The finish in Riva Sette Martiri, near S. Marco’s Square, it’s worth the effort to run the marathon.
