Emilio Vedova begins his artistic search in years thirty in a secentesca and baroque Venice. In the successive decade is a figure of first slowly in the artistic panorama of the post-war period and in years fifty, with Alberto Burri and Lucio Fontana, it represents the Informal European Italian and in parallel with the Abstract Espressionismo American of Jackson Pollock, Willem De Kooning and Franz Kline.
The exhibition, opened until 25th April at Magazzini del Sale, is a cycle of 109 great burlaps conceived and created between 1987 and 1988. The gesture of organize burlaps in changing images and in transit wants to express the unstable precarietà of ours to live and to operate.
