Dino Pedriale was born in Rome in 1950 where he lives and works. He has had solo expositions in Rome, Venice, Ferrara, Torino, Verona, Milan, Frankfurt, Amsterdam and also in France, Brazil and Germany. At the beginning of his carrier Dino Pedriale take pictures of young guy in the streets of Rome. In the 80’s Pedriali turned his attention to the male nude, inspired by the lesson of the ancient painting making them as sculptures, and to still life. His works has been compared by art critic Peter Weiermair to Caravaggio’s bacause he similarly focuses on the artistic elevation of people from the working class.
