Istituto Veneto di Scienze Lettere ed Arti in Venice and Arthemisia pay their tribute to the great art collector from Umbria, Mario Taragoni. The exhibition is an opportunity to admire his prestigious collection of 19th-century works, brought together for the first time. These absolutely extraordinary paintings by the Macchiaioli were collected in the time between the two world wars and particularly after WWII by the well-known financier, economist, art collector, man of culture and fervid supporter of Italian Risorgimento values.
