Describing and narrating the non-city
Opening
Friday, November 20th h 6.00 p.m.
Urban Display is an exhibition dedicated to the non-city as a constantly developing organism; an exhibition which may also change its appearance throughout the time it is open to the public in order to take on suggestions and ideas: an exhibiting space/workshop to consider all that oscillates between the amorphous and the possibilities of urban forms; in order to record which changes in social composition are happening now; to observe the traces of possible cities which have not been realised, or the potential of new urban visions contained in undefined areas. Architects, urban planners, photographers, historians, sociologists, artists and cultural workers have been invited to participate in this polyphonic project to examine and describe the urban space; a continually developing platform for meetings, reflection, discussion and new relational networks which opens on 20th November and continues until 9th January 2010.
