Mare Maggio is a route from the past which looks to the future, in the symbol place in the world seafaring: the Arsenal of Venice.

Historical evocations, vintage ships, the relics of the Navy, involve the public in in an exciting discover of the seafaring traditions.

Mare Maggio is also organized in a wide exhibition area dedicated to the sea life and the nautical culture.

Usually not accessible to the general public, the Arsenal reveals oneself during this event offering an incomparable cultural and commercial context. Mare Maggio has a full programme of activities with proofs of water sports for children and adults (sail, canoe,oar), historical evocations, visit to the submarine Dandolo and to the Motozattera MZ 737 and to other historical ships, rescue demonstrations, laboratories for children, dressing and diving of the historical diver.

Mare Maggio is also a fair dedicated to the sea culture.
