The Project Satyricon begins its journey in 2008, with a theatrical laboratory investigation on the great novel of Latin: The Satyricon of Petronius. In this first stage of work with actors young and old, have followed many others, in various Italian cities. The period of study and preliminary tests has strengthened the intention to transfer the literary scene that matter so charming and so strikingly contemporary. The meeting with the authors produced seven new texts that have gone on to form the fabric of a dramatic contemporary Satyricon, divided into five theatrical moments, called Chapters. Each author has explored the ancient pages, interpreting them in a personal way, while adhering to the intent of the municipality never betray the spirit of Petronius. A plurality of voices, then, each different in language and style, as well as different languages ​​and genres of the Satyricon, but also a rare opportunity to put the company in close contact with those who write for the theater, allowing a living relationship, always focusing on the comparison and the concrete needs of the practice stage, not only the actor but also of those who create the sets and costumes, the music, the lights, the video.
