Opening of the exhibition, «Russia-Italia. Pagine di cinema tra due culture» (Russia-Italy. Pages on two cultures' cinema), will take place on Tuesday 10 November at 6 p.m, at Ca' Foscari Zattere Cultural Flow Zone in Venice.
The exhibition will be hosted by the State Historical Museum of Russia, in partnership with Ca' Foscari's International Programme Office. It will feature posters, videos and photographs of the set of films such as «Aleksandr Nevskij» and «Ivan the Terrible» by Sergei Eisenstein, two of the world's masterpieces. It will also feature material from Italian cinema's distribution in Russia and rare footage of the collection of Mosfilm Production.
