As a renowned stage for operas and ballet, the historical opera house today becomes, for the first time ever , the artist ic showcase for a performance by Maestro Fabrizio Plessi, known and appreciated worldwide as one of the founding fathers of videoart , a n extraordinary, unparalleled and unique alliance, which, thanks to an initiative sponsored by Generali Italia through th e programme Valore Cultura, will provide the opportunity to visit the experimental artistic installation Fenix DNA by Fabrizio Plessi starting on July 26 and going through to August 6, 2017. Philippe Donnet, the Generali Group CEO affirmed : “ Venice is dee ply rooted in the history of Generali dating back to its origins, a nd the relation with the La Fenice Theatre, of whom Generali Italia is a sponsoring partner, is one of the most important examples. In fact, as its insurer , Generali was in charge of its re construction after the two fires that completely destroyed it in 1836 and in 1996. As a result, we are strongly tied to the story of rebirth of this theatre and to the city hosting it.
