Place to place would like to trace a plural map of real and abstract sites in which art appears to be freely perceived, modified, (re) shaped according to the spirit of time; the result is a profoundly human and emotional geography that is reflected by contemporary art’s polysemy, raising questions about the places of our collective and personal memories, our affections and our origins.
The works exposed are examining the constructive and destructive human’s force towards nature, the architectural and structural space. Events, sensations and states of mind are constantly obliging contemporary man to reinterpret the different meanings of the word “place”, through an emotional and sensual journey in which the arrival point corresponds to the starting point. Memory’s affective dimension creates a material and ideological shelter from the world that surrounds us.
